The Value of Time

It seems like yesterday that we were celebrating a brand new year, and here we go again. Everyone knows that time shows no favoritism. We all get 24 hours each day, and how we use it makes the difference in our lives. Time is one of the most important things we have been given and we must be conscious of how we spend it.

People spend time on things they think are important, but whether they are or not is a matter of perspective. How you manage your time depends on your world view. Do you find yourself wasting time, or are you someone who is extremely busy in need of more of it? It all depends on how you see the purpose of this precious resource called TIME.

The Bible says that there is a time for everything, and we need to learn to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalms 90:12). The Bible also tells us to rejoice and be glad all our days. Therefore, we must learn to redeem the time we have been given instead of wasting it. It is extremely valuable, and is to be used wisely.

Allow the Creator to guide everyday of your life, and you will discover the purpose for your time here on earth. Accept a gift that goes beyond the reach of time: eternal life. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and commit the rest of your time here on earth to His Lordship.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12
