The Power of Integrity
Descargar
In elementary school we learned about integers and fractions the difference between those two set of numbers is that the former is a whole number and the latter it is just a ratio. By the same token, the word bifurcation means split apart or divided. No number can empirically measure moral integrity through behavioral observations. Throughout history, integrity has been fragmented by sin and in our days integrity is at its lowest. In the old days, people would do transactions by just a verbal affirmation. They traded properties and services just by a hand shake. Today, if you buy a simple motorcycle, you have to fill out a load of paperwork in order to complete such transaction. Even so, when you buy a real estate property, it takes a mass of legal documents to finalize the deal. In our days, some people that are getting married opt for a prenuptial agreement full of specifications as to how they prefer to relate in marriage.
Why is there so much distrust in our world? The answer is simple; we lack integrity in every aspect of our society. Consequently, we need to recapture and restore integrity in our days. Integrity totally depends on the absolute truth. Because there are so many “alternatives” to the absolute truth, we also have many variations of integrity. Integrity is conditional on a solid core of values which allow people to built outstanding relationships based on truth and, of course, trust. In our search for integrity, we find that it takes a transformation of character. It is a process of having a clean conscious before God and others. Today, individuals have a challenge to integrate into a diverse culture subjective to relativism. We are aware that the world has shrunk and people travel to and from different places like never before in human history. This has caused a collision of cultures resulting in redefinition of what integrity really means.
So how can the average person be protected from been absorbed by the many false currents of truth? How can a person respond to what is just and morally ethical? The God of the Bible provides for us many answers as to the quest for truth. Jesus stated that when we find the truth, the truth shall make us free (John 8:32). A believer in Christ relies solid upon grace in order to build a character of integrity.
“A Christ follower knows that it is by grace that one gets save, thru faith and that this is not from us, but it is a gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship , created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:8-10). Seek no more; find the door of integrity by accepting Jesus Christ the son of God. Do you feel like your life is meaningless and fracture? Do you seek a life of wholeness and wellness? Do you want to discover the plan of God in your life? All you have to do is to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He will make you whole again. Along with a divine purpose prepare in eternity for you.
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”
John 8:32
