bullet The New You

How would you like to be made new again? The world is changing constantly, and as it does, we face new challenges. Life is full of changes; changes are inevitable. People at Microsoft are always looking for ways to improve their products. Usually, they provide the public with new versions of their latest technologies. It is interesting to realize that a new version cannot be read by an old software.

The same applies to meeting the challenges of life. We must renew our minds. Saint Augustine, shortly after his conversion, was walking down the street when he met a woman who had been his mistress during his rebellious days. He turned abruptly and walked quickly in another direction. When she saw him, she cried out “Augustine, it is I!” Augustine increased his speed and continued walking away from her, and cried back over his shoulder, “Yes, but it is not I.” What he meant was that there was a new Augustine, because he had accepted Christ into his life. Therefore his actions and behavior had changed; he was not the same person he had been before.

When God comes into your life, He transforms you in a special way. You will never be the same. In fact, the former things have come to pass, and new things are now declared. “See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.” (Isaiah 42:9). Are you ready for the new you? All you have to do is believe, accept and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Do it today and you will experience a new version of you.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
